Greetings BlockDAG Community,

Key Enhancements and Fixes for BlockDAG X1
Mobile Application
Based on our internal call yesterday, several action items were identified for the development team. Here's a quick update on what team was up to the whole day to cater the action items discussed.

Leaderboard Performance Issues:

• We've deployed a backend fix addressing reported performance issues with the leaderboard. While it now functions smoothly, we're planning a major database change to further enhance performance and reduce server load.
  
  Force Update Functionality:
• To address the multiple bugs reported by users on older versions of the app, we've implemented a force update functionality. This ensures users always have the latest fixes and can benefit fully from the application. This functionality is currently under testing.
  
  User Query Response Time:
• To improve response times for user queries, we've decided to onboard a dedicated support team. The onboarding process is underway, and the team will be trained on the application and best practices for user support.
  
  Handling Rewards for Banned Users:
• Users banned for invalid application use will now have their rewards removed manually via a script. We plan to automate this process in the future. A database backup will be taken before any reward removal.
  
  
  Testing New Changes: We are currently testing several new changes, including:
• New Onboarding Module: Enhanced user onboarding flow for a smoother and more intuitive experience.
• Balance Hide Feature: Users can now hide their balance with a simple click and that will mask the balance, providing additional privacy.
• Banning Invalid Phone Numbers: Strengthened measures to prevent the use of invalid phone numbers, ensuring a more secure user base.
• Resend OTP Functionality: Addressed bugs related to the resend OTP feature to improve reliability.
• Referral Module Fixes (Android): Resolved bugs affecting the referral module on Android devices.

These changes are undergoing rigorous testing to ensure they meet our quality standards. Once verified, we will push the latest code to TestFlight, test that then add the updates to the app store enabling users to access the newest fixes and enhancements for a smoother application experience.
Additionally, we have responded to user queries and reinstated accounts of users with legitimate phone numbers who were erroneously banned by our service.

Exciting news on the blockchain explorer front! All planned changes have been deployed, and we've conducted a thorough round of internal testing. The devnet URL has been shared with stakeholders, and once we receive their approval and the user guide is ready, we'll launch the explorer for end users.
